Information about the press distribution contracts

On April, 9th 2014, the Belgian State published a request for candidates for the grant of service of the distribution of newspapers and periodicals in Belgium. The current stage of the process is that candidacies have been filed. The Belgian Government has now to decide on the validity of the candidacies and with whom candidates it wants to proceed further.

Answering media questions, bpost stated yesterday that the Company did not have any comments and that it pointed out that it had not been informed of any decision of the Belgian Government (which stated that no decision was taken yet by the Council of Ministers). bpost would like to repeat this comment.
