bpost reaches milestone of 2,500 bboxes, usage has doubled
bpost’s bbox network continues to expand at a record pace. The company has now installed its 2,500th bbox. On top of that, more than a thousand additional bboxes are planned for 2026, and usage of existing bboxes has doubled this year.

One in two Belgian train stations to have a bbox by the end of the year
bpost and SNCB/NMBS are joining forces to significantly expand the number of bboxes in train stations. By the end of the year, about half of all train stations in Belgium will be equipped with such a locker where travellers can pick up or send parcels 24/7.

bpost resumes parcel shipments to the United States… just in time for Christmas gifts
Starting Monday, 8 December, residential customers in Belgium will once again be able to send parcels to the United States. bpost has implemented a new procedure to comply with recent US customs requirements, allowing for the resumption of this service just before the holiday season.

bpost adapts its tariffs for 2026
From 1 January 2026, bpost will adjust its stamp and parcel tariffs in order to continue offsetting the structural decline in mail volumes, which is becoming more pronounced every year (~10% less per year) and will be further accentuated by the requirement for electronic invoicing in 2026; the increase in costs linked to inflation; the rise in wage costs and the strong seasonality of demand. These price adjustments are essential to guarantee a high-quality and economically viable universal postal service.
