The Sinterkluis/Saintnicolis by bpost brings magic once again to every corner of the country
This year again, Saint Nicholas is counting on bpost to help him receive all the letters from his fans — and most importantly, to reply to them. The Sinterkluis/Saintnicolis, the enchanting red-and-gold bbox of the Saint, is once again travelling across Belgium, making the eyes of young and old sparkle. In addition, the Saint has asked bpost to ensure the traditional Saint’s Secretariat for all children who cannot reach the Sinterkluis/Saintnicolis in person. When they send a letter by post to Saint Nicholas, they will receive an answer before December 15.
Friday 31 October 2025Saint Nicholas loves the Sinterkluis/Saintnicolis as a magical way to connect with Belgian children around his holiday. He invites everyone to drop their letter to the Saint in the Sinterkluis/Saintnicolis — each visitor is instantly rewarded with a personal reply from the Good Saint himself and a small bag of surprises. A warm and delightful moment that brings families, classes, and schools together in the run-up to the Saint’s celebration.

Gifts for every child
The magic of the Sinterkluis/Saintnicolis is made possible thanks to the loyal support of partners such as Belorta, Biscoff, Capri-Sun, Elmex, Lego, Libeert, Spa, and Twist-Drink. They help Saint Nicholas and bpost bring a moment of wonder to every child — with small surprises that make the wait until December 6 even more fun.
How does it work?
- Children bring their letter or drawing to the Sinterkluis/Saintnicolis, the magical bbox of bpost.
- As soon as the letter disappears into the slot, they get a peek behind the scenes of the Saint’s office.
- A moment later, a little door opens… revealing a letter and a surprise from the Saint himself! Pure joy!

            St Nicolas office
Those who cannot visit the Sinterkluis/Saintnicolis won’t miss out on the fun: as every year, the Saint relies on bpost to run his traditional St Nicholas office.
All letters sent to him by post will receive a reply — provided that the return address is clearly and completely written on the back of the envelope. A stamp is not even required. Letters can be sent to:
Saint Nicholas
Spanjestraat 1
0612 Heaven
Teachers of preschool and primary schools can also send a collective letter with the drawings of all their pupils. The Saint will then send a reply letter to the whole class.
With the Sinterkluis/Saintnicolis and St Nicholas office, bpost keeps alive every year the magic of letters, imagination, and connection — because some traditions are simply too beautiful not to share.
