Woosh chooses Dynahealth for the fulfilment and delivery of recyclable diapers
With Woosh, Dynahealth gains an important new client. The recyclable diapers from the Belgian company are already used daily by thousands of childcare centres. From now on, Dynahealth, part of bpostgroup, will handle both the delivery and collection of diapers from private households throughout the country.
Woosh turns diapers into a circular product: they are produced using recycled materials, and after use they are collected to be recycled again. Since the launch, more than 1,500 childminders and childcare centres in Belgium have chosen to join Woosh’s model. In this way, around 2,000 tonnes of diaper waste are processed each year via the Woosh recycling hub.
Through its webshop, Woosh now wants to make the delivery and collection of recycled diapers accessible to all private families in Belgium. A major logistical task, for which it relies on the strength of Dynahealth. As part of bpostgroup, the company is specialised in high-quality logistical solutions for the healthcare sector, which fits seamlessly with Woosh’s DNA.
From fulfilment to delivery and collection
New diapers ordered on the web shop before 5 p.m. are now delivered ‘“next day”’ by Dynahealth throughout the country. In addition to delivery, the couriers also handle the collection of used diapers, so that they can be recycled by Woosh. For orders from €30, delivery and collection are even completely free.
Moreover, Dynahealth also provides fulfilment: it manages the inventory of the Woosh web shop and prepares the orders. With this unique combination of combined delivery and collection, Woosh receives an all-in-one solution for its logistical challenges.
Green Deal for Healthcare
For Dynahealth, which became the first logistics company to sign the Green Deal for the Healthcare Sector at the end of October, this marks a new step in its mission to make healthcare more sustainable and future-proof. In Europe, 32 billion disposable diapers are used each year, accounting for 4 million tonnes of non-recyclable waste. In Belgium, diapers even represent nearly 10% of the total residual waste.
