Russell Reynolds will draw up a list of qualified candidates based on a carefully defined profile, with extensive and detailed specifications. In particular, the candidate shall present highest values of integrity and shall equally be able to inspire confidence to all shareholders and stakeholders alike and be trusted by international investors.
Based on this report, the Remuneration and Nomination Committee shall formulate its recommendation to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors, assisted by Russell Reynolds, will then submit the proposed CEO candidate to the Government in order for the latter to decide on the final appointment.
To ensure the efficiency and fairness of the selection process of the CEO of bpost, a listed company, all the parties concerned will refrain from making any comments during the procedure.
In the meantime, Johnny Thijs will continue to lead the Company until the new CEO is on board.
