bpost reaffirmed its social engagement in 2024 by donating more than 11,600 pieces of equipment to Digital for Youth, an organization whose sole mission is to bridge the digital divide among young people aged 6 to 25. This record donation, which includes more than 3,000 computers and 2,700 smartphones, will equip schools and organizations that help thousands of young Belgians. A positive campaign that harnesses the potential of digital inclusion to drive equal opportunities.

As part of its sustainability and social responsibility programme, bpost has donated a total of more than 11,600 pieces of equipment this year:
- 3,094 computers, including 1,353 laptops
- 50 tablets
- 2,711 smartphones
- 821 screens
- 635 printers
- 421 scanners
- 3,924 other pieces of equipment (including USB adapters, chargers and card readers)
The donation, composed exclusively of equipment in full working order, gives young Belgians the tools they need to take part in the digital world, which immediately impacts their participation in education and the job market in a tangible way.
Combining digital inclusion and sustainability
The initiative fulfils two goals for bpost: bridging the digital divide and lowering the environmental footprint of electronic equipment.
