Dedicated bpost St Nicolas office opening again
Every year St Nicolas makes around 350,000 children happy with a letter; his helpers are standing by to ensure every child gets a reply.
Monday 14 November 2022The Holy Man asks the St Nicolas office to answer thousands of letters sent to him every year. Wish lists, heart-warming letters, brilliant artworks and craft pieces, lots of dummies and even the odd horseshoe… St Nicolas is sent a huge amount of post at this time of the year. And every year he puts his helpers to work to ensure everyone gets a reply, delivered by bpost postwomen and men. Last year the Holy Man’s assistants replied to some 350,000 children’s letters.
Just one official address to reach St Nicolas
Everyone can send their letters to the Children’s Biggest Friend to one dedicated address: St Nicolas, Spanjestraat 1, 0612 Hemel. Teachers (year 3 of nursery and years 1, 2 and 3 of primary school) can help their pupils write a letter to St Nicolas for sending together with their works of art. Together with the postwomen and men, the bpost colleagues posted at the St Nicolas office will ensure that every letter writer gets an answer.
Important!! To ensure that every letter is answered, it’s essential that the sender’s address is clearly stated on the back of the envelope. The assistants of St Nicolas ask letter writers to take care to write as neatly as possible😊. Letters to St Nicolas can be posted in any red post box and don’t need to be franked.
Letters that are posted before 29 November will be answered around 6 December, but rest assured that St Nicolas will answer all late arrivals too.
