New at bpost: paid media at post offices
bpost, which can draw on an extensive network of post offices close to citizens, launches a new paid media offering that gives private and public advertisers the opportunity to display their advertising messages on digital screens at strategic locations near counters. This new communication channel proposes 15-second spots without sound in a two-minute loop with geographical targeting options.
Monday 2 September 202491% of the Belgian population lives within 5km of a post office. bpost has the most extensive network in Belgium, with at least one post office in every single one of the country’s 581 municipalities. The various postal, banking and parcel services generate more than 32,000,000 contacts per year across the national network, with a sociodemographic profile representative of the Belgian population as a whole.
More than 430 post offices are equipped with digital screens that currently display information on products and services offered by bpost and its exclusive partners. This communication channel has now been opened up to advertisers who want to reach a wide audience in a local and targeted way. The 15-second advertising spots are shown in a two-minute loop during opening hours (including Saturday mornings at more than 80% of post offices).
bpost digital signage also allows campaigns to be better targeted to specific regions, provinces or municipalities. As well as video, bpost is able to boost campaigns with leaflet displays on every second counter for a period of 15 days, for which geographical targeting options are also available.
