Replacement of the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of bpost

The Government also approved the appointment of Mrs Françoise Masai to replace Mrs Durez in her position as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of bpost. This appointment was made after advice issued by the Remuneration and Nomination Committee, confirmed by the Board of Directors of bpost, both also held today.

Françoise Masai is a Doctor of Laws and has a Master degree in economic law. She is currently vice-governor of the National Bank of Belgium. Mrs Masai is also vice-chair of the High Council of Finance and chair of the administrative board of the Credit and Debt Observatory.

Mrs Masai's mandate begins on 23 June 2014 and ends on 17 January 2018, at the end of the term originally set for her predecessor.
