Letters and parcels can once again be sent to a large number of international destinations

International letters and parcels services are gradually getting back to normal with more than 60 international destinations outside the European Union up and running from 28 August.

Services to countries and territories outside the European Union were suspended on 19 March due to the impact of the coronavirus on the transport industry and bpost’s intercontinental operating capacities.

Since 12 of May bpost resumed services to 36 countries over and above the EU countries to which services were never interrupted.

This list will include a further 30 countries from this Friday:

-        Asia: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Macao, Maldives, Myanmar, Pakistan.

-        Africa: Benin, Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda.

-        Americas: Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela.

-        Europe: Serbia.

For the full list of countries and territories to which letters and parcels can be sent, see the dedicated page with information on the impact of coronavirus on bpost services: https://news.bpost.be/en-corona.

bpost Group will do everything in its power to ensure letters and parcels are delivered as quickly as possible to all destinations. However, there may still be some delays, depending on the number of flights and available capacity, as well as the local delivery situation.

Updated information on the situation is regularly published on the bpost website and dedicated coronavirus page.
